QUESTIONS / ANSWERS

How do I reserve my spot for floral preservation?

To book, simply complete the CONTACT FORM and place the 50% non-refundable retainer.
This secures your spot on my design calendar and covers the preparation, freeze-drying, and materials required to begin transforming your bouquet into heirloom art.

What happens after I book?

Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive detailed instructions on how to ship or drop off your flowers.
When your blooms arrive, they are documented, and immediately prepared for drying process in the flower studio to protect their color, shape, and integrity.

How long does the entire process take?

Freeze-drying alone can take 2–6 weeks, depending on the thickness and type of blooms.
After drying, each piece goes through multiple layers of resin pours, curing, polishing, and finishing.
Most clients receive their completed heirloom within 12–26 weeks, depending on design complexity and season.

What exactly is freeze-drying?

Freeze-drying is a scientific, preservation-grade process where flowers are frozen, then gently dehydrated under vacuum pressure.
This allows moisture to evaporate without the petals ever collapsing or melting — preserving their shape, texture, and color more beautifully than any other drying method.
It’s the gold standard for luxury bouquet preservation.

Freeze drying in not the only process we use. Each of out pieces are a combination freeze drying, press drying, air drying and silica drying.

Will my flowers look exactly the same as the day I carried them?

They will look incredibly close — but with the natural character of real, dried blooms.
Some petals deepen in tone, whites may shift to ivory, and certain flowers may become more textured.
These subtle changes are part of the charm of working with real botanicals and make every piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Which flowers preserve the best?

Roses, peonies, ranunculus, orchids, mums, carnations, dahlias, lisianthus, and eucalyptus all freeze-dry beautifully.
More delicate blooms may change more dramatically, but still create stunning artwork when composed thoughtfully in resin.

Do I need to send the flowers while they’re fresh?

Yes — fresh blooms create the most beautiful results.
For best preservation, flowers should be dropped off or shipped within 24–48 hours of your event.
You’ll receive a guide with clear steps for packing and shipping to ensure they arrive safely.

What type of resin do you use?

Your piece is created with professional artist-grade, UV-resistant epoxy resin, chosen for clarity, longevity, and strength.
Once fully cured, it is durable, non-toxic, and safe for home display.

How do I care for my finished piece?

Treat your resin artwork the way you would any fine art:

  • Keep it out of direct sunlight

  • Avoid extreme heat or humidity

  • Dust gently with a microfiber cloth

  • Do not use alcohol or harsh cleaners
With proper care, your piece will last for decades.

Can you include items other than flowers?

Yes — I can embed meaningful additions such as:

  • Ribbon

  • Invitation pieces

  • Jewelry

  • Lace

  • Fabric

  • Written notes

  • Photographs
Just let me know what you’d like to include when we design your piece.

Do you ship finished pieces?

Yes, I ship nationwide.
Shipping cost is TBD based on location, size, and weight of the final artwork.
Local pickup is also available.

What types of pieces can I order?

I offer a wide variety of resin artwork, including:

  • Floral blocks in multiple sizes

  • Keepsake trays

  • Bookends

  • Coasters

  • End tables

  • Wall art

  • Jewelry

  • Ornaments

  • Custom pieces designed specifically for you

If you dream it, we can likely make it.

What if my flowers arrive wilted or damaged?

I will always do everything possible to revive and restore your blooms.
However, if flowers arrive severely damaged, I will reach out to discuss options — including sourcing similar replacements or adjusting the design to highlight the strongest blooms.

What is your cancellation policy?

The 50% retainer is non-refundable, as it covers materials, freeze-drying, and your reserved production slot.
If you decide not to move forward, the retainer is not refundable but I will give you back the flowers in their current dried state.

my flowers are from 2 yrs ago- Can you recreate a bouquet from years ago?

Yes — I can work with previously dried flowers, though they behave differently than fresh blooms and it limits me with my creativity but it can still be done.

How far in advance should I book?

As soon as you have your wedding date.
Spots are limited and fill quickly, especially during wedding season.  All pieces are completed in the order they are booked. This means our schedule operates on a first-come, first-served basis. If you book during a busy season or several months out from your event, your project will be added to the end of the current production queue.

Because of this, your turnaround time may extend beyond the typical window depending on how many clients are ahead of you. I promise—your flowers will receive the same level of care, artistry, and attention as every piece before them.

I damaged my piece. Can it be fixed?

Life happens — and yes, in most cases, your resin piece can be repaired. Light scratches, dull spots, and small chips can often be buffed, resurfaced, or re-coated to restore the shine and clarity. More significant damage may require a deeper refinishing process, and results can vary depending on the severity and location of the damage.

If something happens to your piece, please reach out right away with clear photos. I’ll assess the damage and let you know the best restoration options. My goal is always to bring your heirloom back to life whenever possible.

repair cost starts at 250.00
